Paolo Mizzau graduated in Bologna in 1985. He works in a private practice, focusing on orthopaedics and neurosurgery. He is a founding member of SITOV (Italian Society of Traumatology and Veterinary Orthopaedics) and was also president of that society from 1997 to 1999. Paolo is also a founding partner of AOVI (Italian Orthopaedic Veterinary Association). In addition to his clinical involvement, Paolo was teaching at the University of Udine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (bachelor's degree in Hygiene and Animal Health) the subject of ‘Surgery and nursing techniques applied to veterinary surgery’.
He is also a speaker at various conferences, lecturer and instructor at many courses concerning orthopaedics, physiotherapy and neurosurgery in Italy and abroad, and author or co-author of numerous publications.
Paolo currently works as a freelancer in Italy and Slovenia, with expertise in orthopaedics, traumatology, and spinal surgery.
